Stored data by default
By default, answers come from CubDomain’s stored report for the domain: the same data our report pages show, collected the last time we analysed it. These answers have "cached": true, and checked_at says when the data was collected.
Domains we haven’t analysed
A domain we’ve never analysed is looked up live instead, and the answer has "cached": false. It costs the normal credits. In the report, hosting and safety come only from a full scan, so they’re null for these domains.
fresh=true
Add fresh=true to run the checks live, now. The answer has "cached": false and the current time in checked_at. It costs twice the credits, and it’s on the Starter, Pro and Business plans. On other plans it gets 403 plan_required.
Stored data suits most uses. Use fresh data when you need to see a change as it happens, such as a certificate you’ve just renewed.
